Against same-sex marriage
I'm not sure where I am going to start with this because it is a very different view for me but here it goes. Same-sex marriage should continue to be illegal for many different reasons. In every culture throughout history, marriage has been between a man and a woman, and is essentially oriented to, the generation of children. Not only is it completely against tradition and marriage is a traditional ceremony, but it is it is also sacred. The Bible, a book that many people follow, forbids same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage has never been allowed and should not be allowed in the future.

ReplyDeleteI know that you've been assigned the 'wrong' side of this debate; however, I think this can be a great exercise in argumentation nonetheless. Start by cataloging the YOUR beliefs, and then do your best to turn them on their head (by arguing against them).
